Tuesday, April 07th, 17 members of Chapel Hill attend the annual Passover dinner hosted by Fellowship Church in Casselberry, members of 23 other churches of various denominations attend, Associate Pastor Jon Klein shares from his Orthodox Jewish background to lead and explain the significance of Passover and how it foreshadows the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. Sunday, April 12th, Over 130 attend the Resurrection Sunday service, breakfast is served and the annual balloon release is held afterwards, the service is broadcasted into the fellowship hall and over the internet for the very first time. Click here to see pictures of the event.
Sunday, April 19th, The legendary Blackwood Gospel Quartet perform! Over 150 attend, dinner-on-the-grounds is held afterwards, the concert is broadcasted into the fellowship hall and live over the internet, 8 households (6 of them in Tennessee) watch the live broadcast. Saturday, July 4th, Chapel Hill hosts its annual 4th of July BBQ, over 400 folks attend, BBQ was provided by Rossi's Pizza, drinks were provided by Pepsi Bottling Company, 2 water slides and a bouncey house were provided for the kids, volleyball and horseshoes were provided for the adults.
